A shady BMW dealer had recently listed an auction on eBay for a 2008 BMW M3. They sold the $70,000 M3 for $60,000 to a buyer who used the Buy It Now option. After winning the BMW M3 through a legally binding contract through eBay fair and square for $60,000, the dealer immediately followed up with a phone call to the buyer stating that they had made a "mistake" and that they would not be honoring the deal and ultimately refusing the deal. This has caused an outrage for the buyer. The buyer had created a post on the internet to gain awareness...and he got more than that! Car enthusiasts around the globe came together to show their support for this buyer, who won the M3 fair and square. It did not matter what brand of car the enthuiasts drove as everyone came together as one. These were car lovers who wanted to help a fellow car lover in need. This has made rounds around the internet even hitting local news stations and newspapers. The bad PR for this dealer (BMW of Lincoln) has been amazing! The negative publicity has driven this dealer insane and rightfully so. However, lets get back to this so called "mistake". We have some news on this. This dealer pulled the same "mistake" on a buyer who purchased a 2003 Corvette Z06 on eBay. He, like the BMW buyer, purchased the Corvette on eBay fair and square and was the winning bidder. The dealer REFUSED to honor the transaction because they made a "mistake". I think the only "mistake" they made was not honoring both transactions. BMW of Lincoln has received a negative feedback on their eBay account from the Z06 buyer. The negative feedback reads: "Made deal on phone-told to click BIN-deal changed-Can't be trusted to keep word" So, they thought they could pull it once...could they do it twice?? Didn't think so! Below is the link to the auction for the Z06: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230204709373 NOW HERE'S A FINDING...NOT ONLY DID THEY "MAKE A MISTAKE" and refuse to sell the car to this buyer (AUCTION ENDED DECEMBER 17) but they went ahead AND RESOLD the SAME car on eBay for MORE money just DAYS later...the link is below..go ahead and see for yourselves..THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS..STAY CLEAR OF BMW OF LINCOLN! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230207609918 ^^^That is SOLID proof that these guys KNOW EXACTLY what they are doing and there are NO mistakes involved. That is solid proof. This shady dealer has done nothing but create a bad name for themselves and have created a negative brand image for BMW as a whole. Do you truly think that this was a "mistake"? Hmmm.....can a "mistake" like this happen TWICE? Decide for yourself and watch the video! I think we know what this dealer is all about. They know EXACTLY what they are doing and their unethical business practices have just been uncovered. ;)
