Here's a demo I pieced together of my new Fender MIM 50's Esquire. The guitar is stock except for a set of Dunlop strap locks and a good setup, currently with D'Addario 10's.
The amp is a Fender Champion 600 reissue (stock expect for a Groove Tubes 12AX7 preamp tube) with Boss OD-3 and TR-2 pedals. I recorded this using iMovie HD and an inexpensive dynamic mic.
I tried to go through about every switching option on the guitar both clean and dirty. The switch positions are as follows: the "bridge" selection is a tone control bypass, the "middle" position is the standard tone circuit, and the "neck" position combines a tone cap and a resistor to cut some lows and highs, typically referred to as the "dark" setting.
I hope this helps anyone interested in an Esquire. Thanks for viewing!Tags:fenderMIM50sesquirechampion600
