The Skate Circle in Central Park is a gathering of skaters (quads and inline) and increasingly pedestrians, on Center Drive in Central Park (aka the Dead Road, aka Skaters' Road) on weekend and holiday afternoons through evening. Someone will bring a portable sound system and play music (in defiance of the veritably vanilla Central Park Conservancy), people will dance, watch, socialize, and have a jolly good time.
