I take my MvC edit of Peter Griffin for a battle against a live AI opponent. Since Peter is still unrefined, I chose an opponent who is not too hard, but still presents a decent challenge: Sakura by P.o.t.S. With the latest edits, Peter can now fight against live opponents quite decently.
Peter has undergone some significant changes since the Test Play video:
*Peter Uppercut Launcher has been made even faster. I had to remove some animation frames to increase the speed of this move, making this a true launcher.
*Peter's hyper moves (except the Anal Torch) now have the Marvel Vs. Capcom hyper backgrounds.
*Steroid Man: Adjusted pausetimes on each hitdef to prevent opponents from breaking out of this move. I also removed the EnvShake actions in this move's HitDef's, which cause the screen to shake when a hit from this super successfully lands. They are far too distracting and cause the lifebars to show through the hyper background.
Stuff to do:
*Make one of Peter's air attacks a linker to prolong air combos for a bit longer.
*Implement more actual Peter Griffin quotes.
*More tweaks to hitstuns/blockstuns that I find along the way.
*Adjust the lag times of some of the normal attacks, as well as attack priorities.
*Add the MvC Hyper Combo Finish and display the names of the Supers used to kill an opponent (thanks tridaggerx).
I'll get in contact with Warner so he can test this edit out for himself.
