Breastfeeding is an essential part of the human experience that needs acceptance and normalization. It is perfectly acceptable to nurse a child in any location where the mother is legally allowed to be.
The benefits of breastfeeding are not up for debate because they are so obvious to the medical community and all intelligent people. However, what is up for debate is the extent of the damage caused by formula feeding. It is far reaching and has implications for all human-kind.
Cow milk is for baby cows as human milk is for baby humans.
This is a tribute to my wonderful wife and my beautiful son; still nursing and just over 3 years old. He has been sick (with a cold) 3 times in his life, has never been to the hospital for an illness (save surgery to cure a skull defect at 5 months) and has never had an ear infection or any other condition requiring medication. He is a healthy and happy, "genitally un-mutilated" (intact), little boy. She is a 30 year old mother who is firm in her beliefs and will not be swayed. She is gorgeous, and contrary to popular belief, has breasts that are both functional and very visually appealing. I avidly support nursing mothers and their right to nurse. We are also firmly against routine infant circumcision. Genital integrity for all.
